Getting ready for buying tickets

It’s a thrilling and special moment: the ticket sales for Oerol Festival 2024 are about to begin. Whether you’re a seasoned attendee or a first-timer, the information on this page will ensure you’re fully prepared.

Schedule

  • 13 May at 12:00 | ticket sales open for press/professionals
  • 14 May at 20:00 | ticket sales open for Friends of Oerol
  • 17 May at 20:00 | general public ticket sales begin

Preparation

Make sure to log into your My Oerol account. If it’s been a while and you’ve forgotten your password, now is the perfect time to reset it. This will save you valuable time when tickets go on sale. With the programme now live, you can also start picking which shows you’d like to see.

Buying for Friends

Friends of Oerol can order their tickets during a special presale on 14 May at 20:00. If you or someone you know is a Friend of Oerol but can’t participate in the presale, you can purchase tickets on their behalf, provided you have their V- (or VR-) number. Make sure to have this number ready beforehand and share it with the friend who will be buying tickets for you. Note: You don’t need this number if you’re just buying tickets for yourself.

Not a Friend yet? You can join from just €28.00. Click here for more information.

Ready, set…

Is there any point in being on the website super early? Not really. The site can be incredibly busy right before sales begin. To manage this, everyone is placed in a ‘waiting room’ an hour before the sales start. Once the sales commence, everyone in the waiting room is randomly assigned a position in the ‘queue’. This ensures everyone has a fair chance, whether you logged in at 19:00 or 19:55. If you join after sales have started, you’ll be at the end of the line.

…GO!

Once you’re through the queue, you can go ahead and book your tickets. For a detailed guide on how it all works, click here.

Got you tickets?

YES! Share your excitement with us and your friends on Facebook and Instagram. We’d love to see it! And don’t worry if you don’t see your tickets in your inbox immediately; it can sometimes take up to 24 hours for them to arrive. Tip: Check your spam folder and the order history in your My Oerol account too.

Missed out on tickets? We completely understand how frustrating that can be. Fortunately, our programme is so rich and varied, you’re sure to discover another fantastic event.

We hope this clears up any queries you might have about the ticket ordering process. Still got questions? You can find many answers in our FAQs. Our helpdesk is also available via chat (through the hamburger menu → question mark icon at the bottom right of the page) or by emailing helpdesk@oerol.nl.
