Jantien first organised Fuzzy Logic in 2024, driven by a desire to share not just finished work, but also unfinished material, process and research. Inspired by improvisation and instant composition training, she now invites three fellow performing artists to join her at Oerol in offering a glimpse behind the scenes.
This isn’t a rehearsed performance, but a public improvisation. Each performer, coming from a background in acting, dance or music, steps onto the floor with minimal structure. Together, they explore how to collaborate, respond, negotiate and contribute — sometimes with ease, sometimes with difficulty. Every Fuzzy Logic begins with a different theme, explored live in under an hour through movement, sound and text, with the audience present throughout. A collaboration between Milena Sundari Nowak, Tonnie Dieleman, Sam Verhaeren and Jantien Fick.
