Be surprised during the Restafval?, kook mee met PW workshop where children aged 7 to 12 discover the art of sustainable cooking. We work with food surplus from local restaurants and nearby food trucks. Together, the young chefs transform these ingredients into delicious creations. In a charming setting, they share their culinary masterpieces with festival-goers, friends, and family.
We start the day by collecting ingredients from these food trucks. Then, in groups of up to 10 participants, the children will create delicious dishes. This workshop not only provides a tasty experience but also highlights the importance of sustainability and reducing food waste. It’s a creative journey into a world where nothing is lost and everything is used deliciously.
