Radvlad is the musical project of Northern Macedonian, Netherlands-based artist Vladimir Vidanovski. Having worked as a visual artist for more than a decade, Vidanovski now explores musical expression, using crunchy pop tunes, deep raver beats and cinematic soundscapes to portray the versatile stage personality Radvlad.
Hopping between different genres and influences, Vidanovski produces narrative music as Radvlad. He does so in a way that closely matches the methods of his visual art, which explores the confluence of virtual worlds and our physical reality, and its influences on queer bodies. Each song and video that accompanies it are like characters navigating through mountains of broken chords, rivers of sparkling strums and heavily thundering beats. During his performances, he is on stage as a vibrant, energetic personality who reacts curiously to the video projections and becomes one with the digital characters.
