In a ritual ode, VinkenSpreeuw calls upon a sensual feminine force at Oerol — a divine power with many faces. Some call her First Love, others the Beginning. VinkenSpreeuw is the latest solo project by performer, musician, anthropologist and writer Maarten Vinkenoog. He has a deep connection to ritual, and to the music and rhythms that accompany it. To explore this, he travelled the world — and what he learned forms the foundation of his work. Vinkenoog has previously performed in productions by Project Wildeman, Silbersee, Ulrike Quade Company, NNT, Theater Sonnevanck and many others.
