The program is full to bursting with activities! Just scroll through the program overview to see all the things there are to do. You can also look just at theatre, music, etc. Or you can see everything that’s on on a particular day, or even within a particular time frame. If you want to go back to the overview, just click again on what you have selected. This will undo the selection. You can also download the program down below.
Friends of Oerol will receive the program booklet in the post in the second week of May.
Entranceband: your access to the festival!
During Oerol, the whole island is involved in the festival. You need your Oerol membership – the entranceband– to access all the programme sections at the festival: this is your ticket to the festival.
You can buy the entranceband from our website and during the festival from the Oerol info stand in the harbour and at the Westerkeyn festival centre, as well as from the VVV sales outlets. If you buy online, you will be sent a voucher that you can exchange for your entranceband in person in the ferry terminal in Harlingen and at the harbour in West-Terschelling. The entrancebands cost €25 if you buy in advance, and €30 during the festival. The price for children is €5 in advance and €7,50 during the festival. Buy your entranceband here!
Sometimes, you will need an extra ticket as well as your entranceband to get into a show. These shows are marked with the ticket icon in the programme booklet. This is always the case for the theatre productions. Problems while buying tickets? Please contact our helpdesk:

Program booklet and online advance sales
The program booklet is published in the middle of May. The program booklet is sent to the Friends of Oerol ahead of the Friends advance ticket sales.
Buying tickets to shows on the island
During the festival, ticket sales take place at the Westerkeyn festival centre and at the Betonning. The box offices are open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Westerkeyn and during opening hours at the Betonning. On the last Sunday of the festival, when Westerkeyn is closed, ticket sales will take place at the Betonning.
Tickets and entrancebands sold cannot be returned and cannot be exchanged. The only exception to this is performances that are cancelled or stopped before they are half way through (for example, owing to bad weather). In these cases, a special returns box office will be set up at the central box office at Westerkeyn.
