I’ll dance as fast as I can Part 2: The Raving Ones (Maenads)

Lisette Ros gives form to the inner struggle of falling and rising. Accompanied by music from Gabriel Rolt, she slowly transforms into a moving golden sculpture. Can we still express ourselves in a world seemingly designed to numb and paralyse us?

In this performance — the second in a trilogy of performance artworks that began in 2020 — Lisette Ros searches for the divine. For the sacred fire that might lift us out of our collective paralysis. She explores the limits of reason and intellect, reaching for something beyond the human, beyond the fractured logic of today. Where do we find the urge to rise again? To transcend ourselves? This performance is both a lament and an uprising.

The access route from the bicycle parking area to the beach is 300 meters long, consisting partly of asphalt and partly of loose sand. A beach wheelchair is available.
