From Oerol, ticket sales coordinators Jaimy van der Deijl and Merel Sweers are responsible for the day-to-day running of the Tickets & Service department.
Ticket sales
Online ticket sales will start in various phases in mid-May. If applicable, you will receive an email from kaartverkoop@oerol.nl in the run-up to the festival with information on how you can view your own sales figures per performance.
If agreements have been made about free tickets, these agreements are part of your contract. You will only receive free tickets for your own performances. This number can be spread over multiple performances or used at one time. To place the order, you will receive a form from kaartverkoop@oerol.nl in April . A deadline will also be stated by which you can request your free tickets at the latest. We can only guarantee requests that are received by us before that date. You can also indicate whether you want to order additional tickets for payment of the regular rate. If you want to do so, you will automatically receive a payment link for this. Payment must be made within a few days. All tickets will be sent to one email address, so that you can distribute them among your guests yourself. An e-ticket will also be sent with each free ticket, which can be exchanged for a day wristband at a service point.
After the festival, you will receive a report from us with the number of tickets sold and the number of free tickets issued per performance. We provide this overview once and you can use it for your own accountability.
Buy tickets yourself
You can buy tickets for your own show or another show from mid-May via our website. You will need a My Oerol account for this.
If you have any problems, you can contact our helpdesk via the website or by email ( helpdesk@oerol.nl ). During the festival, we will sell tickets at the service points, if still available. You can go there to buy tickets, have tickets printed if you wish, and for other practical matters. The opening hours of these service points are not yet known at the time of writing. These will be
communicated on our website later. You can also go to the service points for other practical questions, such as lost and found.
From 2025 onwards there will no longer be an artist and volunteer box office. You can order your tickets online.
Festival wristbands and control
All visitors, artists, volunteers and guests of Oerol must be in possession of a festival wristband or a day wristband. With a festival wristband you get access to the festival heart and the Expeditions and you can enjoy the program. For the location performances you need to buy a ticket in addition to a festival wristband.
Festival wristbands can be purchased online and at the service points. When purchasing online, you will receive an e-ticket with a QR code. This e-ticket can be exchanged for a festival wristband once at one of the service points.
Cost of festival wristband (unlimited validity during the entire festival):
- €55.00 (regular) – €60.00 (late bird) in pre-sale for 16 years and older.
- €65.00 during the festival for 16 years and older.
- €35.00 Jopies (up to and including 35 years).
- €12.50 for children aged 4 to 15.
These costs are for online sales. If a ticket is purchased at the box office, a surcharge of €1.00 per ticket applies.
At the festival heart, the performances and the visual arts, there will be checks for festival wristbands and day wristbands. Help the volunteers and actively show your wristband.
Artist bands
All companies/artists are required to wear an artist wristband during the festival. If this is difficult, for example because of costumes, we advise you to wear the wristband around your ankle. Questions about your artist wristband can be asked to your production coordinator. The number of agreed artist wristbands can be collected at the same time as the food vouchers from Wednesday 11 June at the artists and guests desk at the harbour. As soon as you arrive by boat, you will see this desk immediately.
