Alexander Moto’s live show is full of surprises — ranging from raw boom bap to intimate, cabaret-style songs, in both Dutch and Frisian. From his base in Leeuwarden, he’s already released the album Radiostilte op Iselmar (2020), several EPs, and the 2024 mixtape rups. In 2025, Moto keeps the flame burning with multiple new projects, a second album on the way, and a spot at Oerol’s festival heart, de Deining.
This show is part of the Explore the North Hub. From 13 to 22 June, Explore the North presents work across the island by talents connected to its production house. Explore the North is both a festival and a creative production house based at Podium Explore in Leeuwarden.
