Becoming an accredited Oerol professional allows you to connect with other cultural professionals, access exclusive discussions and networking events, and secure tickets through the professionals presale.
Applying is simple—just follow the steps below.
Step 1: check if you qualify
Oerol professionals accreditation is for individuals actively working in the cultural sector. You may be eligible if you are:
- An artist or creative working in performing arts, site-specific work, or interdisciplinary practice
- A programmer or curator selecting and supporting artistic projects
- A producer, cultural manager, or festival director facilitating artistic production
- A researcher or academic exploring themes of public space, site-specific work, or cultural engagement
- A funder or policymaker shaping cultural policy or supporting the arts

Step 2: complete the accreditation form
To apply, fill in the Oerol professionals accreditation form online. We will ask for:
- Your contact details (name, email, phone number)
- Your professional background (organisation, job title, role description)
- Your Oerol history (first-time visitor or returning professional)
- Your professionals profile, including a short bio, what you are looking for at the festival, and your contact preferences
- Your festival dates (arrival and departure information)
When applying, you can choose to make your professionals profile visible to other accredited professionals. This allows you to connect with peers, see who else is attending, and network in advance of the festival.
Step 3: wait for approval (up to 2 weeks)
Once you submit your application, we will review your details to ensure you meet the accreditation criteria.
- You will receive a confirmation email acknowledging your application
- Accreditation processing may take up to two weeks
- If approved, you will receive a confirmation email with next steps

Step 4: purchase your professionals festival wristband
Once your accreditation is approved, you will be able to purchase a professionals festival wristband through your MyOerol account.
- Gives you access to all regular festival areas (festival hub, visual arts, ticketed performances)
- Provides exclusive entry to the professionals programme (networking events, discussions, and more)
- Same price as a regular wristband, with a reduced rate for professionals under 35

Step 5: plan for the professionals programme and presale
Professionals presale – 19 May 2025 at 12:00 CET
- Accredited professionals get early access to ticketed performances
- Be sure to log in to your MyOerol account to access the presale
- Tickets may sell out quickly, so mark the date in your calendar

International professionals programme – 17 to 19 June 2025
- Plenary discussions, networking sessions, and artist presentations
- Limited capacity – early accreditation is recommended
Step 6: join us at Oerol 2025
