Now it’s up to you to piece together your own Oerol adventure. In recent years, the festival has become more compact, more layered and even more of a voyage of discovery.
Whether you like outspoken engagement, dreamy theatre or dancing until the early hours: you put together your own Oerol. Everything is allowed, nothing is required. Overwhelming? No worries: via Discover Oerol you will find a number of themes that can help you on your way.

From east to west, from mudflats to beach. During Oerol, Terschelling is one big open-air theatre. In many places on the island you can enjoy shows, performances, concerts and installations that blend in with their surroundings. With your festival wristband around your wrist and your ticket for the shows in your hand, you set off on an adventure and explore the island.
