Volunteer Agreement and Insurance

To become a volunteer at Oerol, we ask you to agree to the volunteer agreement. You already did this when you registered. You can find the agreement here. This is important not only for us but also for you. This way, both parties know what to expect and what our collaboration is based on.

If you have any questions or comments after reading the contract, you can always contact us via email at vrijwilligers@oerol.nl or by phone at 0562 – 448 448.

Insurance

With such a large number of volunteers, it is essential that they are well insured. Therefore, a collective accident and liability insurance has been taken out. Note: you are only insured while you are working for Oerol. This applies only if you have signed and submitted the volunteer agreement. During your free time, your own health or travel insurance coverage applies. Oerol is not liable for loss or theft of personal belongings. If you want valuable possessions to be insured, it may be wise to take out travel insurance.

Liability Insurance

The liability insurance covers damage you cause to others. With our insurance, you are covered for both material damage and personal injury. If you accidentally cause damage to another party while working for Oerol, you are insured.

Accident Insurance

The accident insurance covers everyone under our responsibility. Our accident insurance is comprehensive, but it does not cover everything. The insurance only pays out in the event of permanent disability, after an accident, or in case of death. This means that the following are not covered:

  • Material damage
  • Medical expenses
  • Accidents with another employer
  • Accidents during sports
