With this seafood dinner, we’ll treat you to a wide range of flavours from the North Sea and Wadden Sea. Expect fish, shellfish, salty vegetables, seaweed – all prepared over open fire with a deliciously smoky, roasted touch.
Right in the heart of Deining, we’ll be cooking up a surprise dinner for you over open fire — right before your eyes. Expect a spicy twist and a feast full of island flavours, treasures from the North Sea, and delights from the Wadden. Everything is prepared with that irresistible smoky edge: smoked, roasted, braised…
Almost everything we serve comes straight from our surroundings – harvested, picked, foraged or caught by us and for us. We cook according to the 80/20 principles of Dutch Cuisine, with a strong focus on vegetables and sustainability. Leftovers and by-products? We gladly give them a second life in other dishes.
And the best part? After this fiery feast, you can dive straight back into the festival buzz. Let the music play — the band is about to start!
Good to know: Our dinner is, by exception, not vegetarian by default. However, almost everything comes directly from our surroundings — sourced, harvested, picked, foraged, and caught by us, for us. Would you like a vegetarian meal? Please let us know at eten@oerol.nl no later than one day in advance. This helps us to avoid waste and prevent disappointment. The dinner is free from gluten and nuts. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate other dietary requirements or allergies.
