Het Tussendoor

Cello, guitar, poetic lyrics and two voices in harmony. Let yourself drift through the chaos of daily life with poetry, music and wry, light-hearted anecdotes. With the depth and optimism you’ve come to expect from Iris Penning’s songs, this is a moment to do absolutely nothing — in the beautiful Bostheater, at Het Tussendoor.

Waiting for the bus, staring out of the train window, sitting on the loo — those quiet moments between the chaos. The pause without pressure, when nothing is expected of you. Come and settle in at Het Tussendoor. This performance weaves together brand-new, never-before-heard songs and existing work. Iris Penning is joined by cellist Mirthe de Jonge and guitarist Richie Reichgelt. Together, they create a warm musical bath where Iris’s poetic pop can swim freely.
