For once, you won’t be asked to lock away your phone during this meditation session. Instead, your smartphone becomes an extension of your body — receiving virtual stories and memories from people far away, or no longer here. Technology becomes a tool for connection, rather than distraction.
In the stillness of the forest, you realise that presence is more than physical availability, that absence is never truly empty, and that the boundary between the material and immaterial is more fluid than you thought. This intimate private device — so often a thief of your time and attention — is used with care, gently taken over by magical energies. It’s a chance to feel that the spiritual needn’t be religious, and the technological isn’t necessarily inhuman. Initiated during the COVID-19 pandemic, this project was born from a desire to explore hybrid forms of presence. Can connection transcend time and space?
