After lunch, we reconvene for a plenary session where the IN SITU network presents its latest initiative. Colleagues from across Europe will share how they support artists and the themes, formats, and approaches shaping their current work.
IN SITU is the European platform for artistic creation in public space. This session offers a glimpse into the new four-year PLATFORM project, supported by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union. Several partners will share insights about their current work and ways of supporting artists. It’s a chance to gather inspiration, explore new collaborations, and connect with a growing international network committed to art beyond traditional venues.
This session is part of the IN SITU international professionals programme and will be held in English. We follow a bring-your-own-language approach: feel free to speak in Dutch or any other language — as long as someone in the room can help translate into English, you’re all set. Capacity is limited, so please book a free ticket to secure your spot. You can only book a ticket if you’re logged in as an Oerol Professional. You’ll need both your Oerol Professionals or Wij Maken Oerol festival wristband and your ticket to attend.
You’re also welcome to join the shared lunch beforehand at the Oerol Professionals Hub — be sure to book a separate ticket for that.
