Oerol and Bartiméus Fonds join forces to build a more inclusive theatre landscape. This afternoon brings together makers, programmers, policymakers and access experts. The session is moderated by Eva Eikhout — presenter, creative and outspoken advocate for accessibility and representation.
This gathering is part of Oerol Onbeperkt Theater, a long-term programme aimed at structural change in how we approach accessibility and inclusion in the performing arts. Oerol Professionals and those working in inclusive theatre are invited to share lunch and enter into deeper conversation, with contributions from artists, producers, policymakers and access experts. How do we create more space for difference — onstage and beyond?
This session will be held in Dutch. If you’d still love to join, you’re very welcome — and likely to find a fellow professional who can translate the highlights for you. Registration is via a separate online form. We aim for a balanced group, including both Oerol Professionals already on the island and professionals from the inclusive theatre field travelling to Terschelling for the day. You’ll receive a confirmation with your ticket if a spot is available. Lunch and other refreshments are included.
It’s also possible to attend this session as a day trip. You can travel from Harlingen with the 10:30 fast ferry or the 09:55 regular ferry (note: the regular ferry will get you to the session slightly after it begins). Return travel is possible with the 17:35 ferry. Check times and book your boat tickets at www.rederij-doeksen.nl.
