In the green of a little village in Holland, a rebellious teenager, the perfect son-in-law, your favorite colleague, and a somewhat hyperactive teenager started the indie pop band Scarlet Rose. Their first performance was right away at the world-famous Cavern Club in Liverpool during the International Pop Overthrow Festival. This was followed by a tour across the Netherlands, radio appearances, and an extended tour through England. In 2023, the band provided the after-show for The Kooks at Afas Live. Now, Scarlet Rose is hard at work on new material, sounding like a lovechild of Vampire Weekend, Two Door Cinema Club, and Paul Simon layered with African and Latin American rhythms.
