Scarlet Rose’s latest songs sound like the lovechild of Vampire Weekend, Two Door Cinema Club and Paul Simon—laid over a bed of African and Latin American rhythms. The band is currently working hard on new material, and they’re excited to give you a sneak preview.
In the land of Maas and Waal, a rebellious teen, the perfect son-in-law, your favourite colleague and a slightly hyperactive teenager decided to form the indie pop band Scarlet Rose. They kicked things off in 2019 with a first gig at none other than the legendary Cavern Club, during the International Pop Overthrow Festival. A tour and an EP followed. In 2022, the band toured across the Netherlands, Germany and England, and in 2023 they played the aftershow for The Kooks at AFAS Live—an absolute highlight. No fewer than 25 shows across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the UK followed.
