Each day, PolakVanBekkum work on a large-scale drawing of the grazing patterns of cows — and you’re invited to watch. Observe subtle shifts in movement and time, as new traces are added daily. The artwork is based on a fascinating scientific study from the early 1970s into cow grazing behaviour on the Groede.
Learn more about the work of PolakVanBekkum, their research into the Cow Clock, the drawing of cows and their movements, and the relationship between the landscape and the cows of the Geskieker. In this special event for friends, you’ll join a conversation with Esther Polak and Ivar van Bekkum of the artist duo PolakVanBekkum, along with Neeke van Zwol, moderated by curator Marin de Boer.

The access route from the bicycle parking area to the location consists of 700 meters along a polder road, 150 meters through a meadow, across a small bridge, and a steep climb up the dike. Seating options are limited.
