Info

In this alternative creation story, the Duinmeertje van Hee transforms at sunset into a mythical body of water — the source from which everything began. As an audience, you sit close to the water. Or even in it, wearing waders. Nature, movement and the place itself are woven together into a story we listen to — together.
Water flows through everything that lives and connects us all. The surface of the black lake appears lifeless. How deep is it here? You take a sip from the cup and remember that water gives life — but only gods live forever. The performers move with the rhythm of the lake and its surroundings, as intentional and unintentional sounds of nature and the lapping water create a sense of calm. The forces of nature and humankind come into view, turning our coexistence into a kind of play.

The access route from the meeting point is a short walk along a bike/forest path.
The performance is performed in all kinds of weather. We recommend to bring clothes according to the weather, and warm clothes in general. Especially if you choose to wear a wader, as it will be cold in the water after a while.
There will be 20 waders available, and they will be distributed by “the first come, first served” principle. If you would like to experience the performance wearing a wader, please meet 20 min before performance-start.
