Our pink soup kitchen serves the soup hot! A cup of soup is always tasty, especially the top favourites from our shop. No watery juice, but a good filling and heartwarming soup, made fresh every day! And all our soups are vegan and gluten-free.
‘Smokey peppers’
What more do you need than well roasted sweet pointed peppers? Lots of fresh tomatoes bursting with flavour, garlic, onion and, of course, homemade stock. This fragrant and deliciously lumpy soup is a real vitamin bomb!
‘Sweet coco curry’
Red curry with coconut cream, almost the same ingredients as the smokey peppers, but because of the red curry, lemongrass, coconut and coriander, a totally different taste experience. Nice, creamy and a little bit spicy!
‘Spicy peanut potato’
You have to try this soup! You might not know it, but the combination of peanuts and chillies with sweet potato and kale is insanely delicious! And a real meal soup that will keep you going for hours…
‘t Lokaal is 15 years old this year, started once during Oerol and can’t be left out 😉 Close to the ferry at the beginning of Torenstraat, many people know where to find us for coffee and cakes, sandwiches filled with goodies from the island, homemade soup, quiches, etc.
Our shop offers more: from Terschellinger cheese, mustard, beer, sausage, nuts to biscuits and homemade chocolate surprises. Apart from our shop, we cater on location, at the craziest places for very small and very large parties, and everything in between. And during the summer months, on board of the sailing ship De Toekomst, we prepare dinner at sea every Saturday!
On the Deining, we also like to spoil you with our homemade goodies: come and enjoy our soups and flammkuchens! Or come and enjoy our flaming three-course sea dinner!
