Through this partnership, Oerol will offer Hertog Jan pilsner, Hertog Jan Weizener, and Corona during the multi-day festival. Alcohol-free options such as Corona Cero and Hertog Jan 0.0 will also be available. AB InBev will provide a specialty beer bar at the festival and supply beer tap installations, decorations, and other technical equipment for the festival setup.
Jiska Bazuin, business director of Oerol: “AB InBev is a partner who understands what Oerol stands for: bringing people together in a special place, in a relaxed and summery island atmosphere. With Hertog Jan and Corona as our house brands, we add a tasteful element to the experience. Committing to each other for five years builds trust and allows us to continue enhancing the quality and hospitality of the festival together.”
Europe’s largest site-specific arts festival
Every June, when the days are longest, Oerol takes place. For 45 years, Europe’s largest location arts festival has presented ten days of site-specific performances, street theater, music, visual arts, literary arts, and talks across the Wadden Island.
“We are delighted to partner with Oerol, a festival that aligns perfectly with AB InBev. Oerol is a unique festival that welcomes visitors from diverse backgrounds to enjoy music, culture, and the friendly atmosphere the festival is known for. Through this new partnership, we contribute to Oerol’s lively ambiance and bring people together on this beautiful island. We look forward to a successful collaboration!” said Jasper Kessels, Country Director of AB InBev Netherlands.
