All volunteers will receive a staff wristband that grants access to the Festival Heart, expeditions, and backstage areas. You can collect your staff wristband at the volunteer desk at the Oerol office in Midsland (see ‘Day of Arrival’).
Access with your festival wristband includes:
- Festival Heart
- Several expeditions
- Klein Westerkeyn
- Theatre performances (in combination with a ticket)
It is important that you wear this wristband at all times!

For the performances, you need both a festival wristband and a ticket.
Buying Tickets
This year, ticket sales for volunteers are also online. There is no strip card anymore; any applicable discount is linked to your My Oerol account.
Log in to the website with your My Oerol account. Make sure you log in with the email address registered as a volunteer. Order tickets for the performances you would like to see. This can be done from Wednesday, June 5th, at 14:00. Any discount you are entitled to will be directly linked to your account and applied when purchasing your tickets. This applies to performances that are not yet sold out.
Want to buy a ticket for a sold-out performance? You can purchase them online two days in advance, from 13:00. For example, on Friday you can secure your ticket for Sunday.
There will be no specific volunteer ticket booths this year. You are, of course, always welcome at a service point if you encounter issues with buying tickets online.
Buying Tickets for Multiple People at Once
With your strip card, you could buy tickets for multiple people at once. You can do this online too! Your My Oerol account has a personalised code. If you click on Subscriptions in your My Oerol account, you will find your unique code there. You can give this code to the person who will be ordering tickets. Instructions on how to buy tickets can be found on this page. The explanation is for friend sales, but it also applies to volunteers.
