Fast Bird festival tickets on sale
The time has come: June 20 you can pre-order your festival ticket for Oerol Festival 2026! Until the first 3000 are sold, you can secure your Fast Bird festival ticket for only €50.
Festival band
A festival band grants you unlimited access to the festival heart “the Deining” during Oerol. Located on and near the North Sea beach, this is the beating heart and the central meeting place of the festival with live music and storytelling acts, talks, street theater performances and dancing on the beach. There are also about ten Expeditions (=visual art installations) each year that can be visited at your own pace during the day by showing a festival band. If you want to go to a performance, you must also have a festival band on your wrist and have a valid ticket for the performance to be scanned.
In addition, with your purchase you support our education projects, help caring for nature on the island and our efforts to make Oerol accessible to everyone. Now and in the future.
Free access
Check out free-of-charge street theatre in the villages of Terschelling and at various other locations spread across the island. Also, visit De Streken, the landscape artwork by Marc van Vliet.
Of course, these activities also incur costs, but because we believe it’s important that everyone has the opportunity to participate, we offer these experiences free of charge. If you’d like to support our activities, donations are always welcome.

Are you a Jopie?
Jopies
Are you 35 years old or younger? Then we call you a Jopie! Inspiration source? Our founding father Joop Mulder, who started Oerol before he was even 30 and once uttered the legendary words “If your dreams don’t scare you, they’re not big enough”. It started off with street theater on the sidewalk in front of his café in Midsland and grew into what it is today: Europe’s largest performing arts festival.
Get your Jopie festival ticket now for €35, a nice discount off the regular rate. All you have to do is add your date of birth to your My Oerol account, and voila! Now you’re part of the club that opens the door to all sorts of great benefits, discounts, tips and activities. Your age will be checked when you issue your festival band at Terschelling.
Please note: you can purchase a maximum of 1 Jopie festival band per person/account.

Planning to visit Oerol Festival for just one or two days? You can purchase a day wristband. Online, you can buy a €25 ticket for a day wristband without a specific date. During the festival, you can exchange your ticket at one of the service points for a wristband for your chosen day. Day wristbands will be available once the programme is online.
de Deining Day Stamp
Want to join your friends at De Deining but, oops, you don’t have a festival wristband? We won’t leave you out in the cold! Starting this year, you can purchase a one-time entry to De Deining at the gate. Enjoy the fun, and if you’re having a good time, you can buy a regular (day) wristband. This is the only way Oerol can continue to exist, and of course, we’d love to see you more often. The day pass is only available during the festival at the Deining service point.
Of course, activities such as street theatre cost money, but because we believe it is important that everyone has the opportunity to take part, we offer them free of charge. If you would like to support our activities, donations are always welcome.
