Catering Volunteer tasks

At the Festival Heart, there is a distinction between the catering team (bar) and the Festival Heart team. Bar staff work behind the various bars on the grounds, while the grounds team (Team Festival Heart) ensures the smooth running of the Festival Heart. This includes tasks such as collecting and washing glasses, checking wristbands, or managing the bicycle parking area. Together, we make it one big, welcoming event.

At the start of your shift, your bar manager or location manager will go over all tasks with you. This is the moment to ask questions or practice pouring a beer. During your shift, the location manager or bar manager is your supervisor; you should discuss everything that happens during your work with them. Do you have questions about the schedule or other important matters? Please discuss these with your subco.

Oerol Laws – Working in Catering
