The sound of Rotterdam-based keyboardist, producer, and composer Anton de Bruin bridges the gap between the club and the concert hall. Musically rooted in acts such as Dragonfruit and Peter Somuah, his solo project is a kaleidoscope where dub, afrobeat, jazz, and electronica merge into a genre-defying whole.
Following the release of his debut album Imaginarium in 2024, Anton De Bruin performed at festivals such as North Sea Jazz, Valkhof, and Grasnapolsky. His second album, Sounds of the Eclipse, was released in 2025 on his own independent label, Sundown Recordings, and featured in NRC’s ‘Top 10 Dutch Albums of 2025’. The record earned a 4-star review from the prestigious Songlines magazine and received praise from leading tastemakers like Gilles Peterson on Worldwide FM. Now, Anton is ready to set dance floors alight across Europe.
