Grote Geelstaart

Grote Geelstaart walks the tightrope like an acrobat who could lose their balance at a moment’s notice. Noise orchestrated in such a way that it bubbles to a boiling point. They haul a sizeable mountain of gear to every show, including two drum kits and a collection of pedals that would make even a harsh-noise enthusiast blink twice.

With oblique soundscapes over even more oblique time signatures, they create a live show that is as claustrophobic and cramped as a fish out of water. Grote Geelstaart manages to enchant their audience with their daunting-Dadaist-dance beats. Their pristine white shirts and colourful ties prove to be nothing but a farce.
