M2K is a live dance duo consisting of producer Marnix Bausch and drummer Sam Kemner. Their 90s underground dance music is inspired by the likes of The Chemical Brothers and Soulwax. Marnix produces his tracks from the chaos in his mind, driven by his ADHD, while Sam drums the frustrations out of his system on an analogue kit.
The centerpiece of their performance is an alien-looking puppet with a television for a head, which displays all the featured vocalists. M2K’s Popronde tour was a major success, and over the past year, the duo has brought the house down at venues like Melkweg, Hedon, EKKO, Luxor Live, and many others. In short, they are an electronic-analogue dance sensation that triggers total, positive chaos.
