The moon circles the Earth eternally, bouncing sunbeams through the darkness. What influence does this have on us? What do we feel? What qualities do we project onto her? What do we think we truly know? Moon Gazer offers you an otherworldly perspective on this mysterious celestial body.
Moon Gazer makes a rediscovery of the moon possible. Her smooth, mottled face looks familiar. But the unknown of her far side defies the imagination. That invisible realm, which does not exist to our naked eye, nonetheless enters our field of vision. Through an astronaut’s helmet and a camera in vacuum. From an extraterrestrial perspective, the moon is a different creature altogether, scarred by a violent era. Unprotected. Defenseless. And peerless. Moon Gazer offers a glimpse of that hidden side. And surprisingly, that unknown face seems to gaze right back. Through this lens, you are suddenly confronted with our own lack of knowledge, our limited field of vision, our finite time, and our restricted sense of grandeur.
