Opium op Oerol brings the festival to your living room, reporting live from Monday till Friday on NPO2 at 19:55. The broadcast will feature guests and impressions of performances, concerts, expeditions and live performances.
Host Cornald Maas will be joined by the following guests to discuss the Oerol performance they attended:
– Monday 16 June: friends Maartje Wortel (writer) and Olga Zuiderhoek (actress)
– Tuesday 17 June: life partners Antoinnette Scheulderman (journalist) and Michel van Egmond (bestselling author)
– Wednesday 18 June: comedian Youp van ’t Hek and his wife Debby Petter
– Thursday 19 June: siblings Aaf Brandt Corstius (writer and columnist) and Jelle Brandt Corstius (TV maker)
– Friday 20 June: Princess Laurentien of Orange and her daughter Eloise of Orange
Singer and actress Sarah Janneh, named acting talent of 2025 by de Volkskrant, will give a musical performance each day. Presenter and podcast maker Carolien Borgers will also explore unique performances and meet young theatre makers for Opium at Oerol.
Opium at Oerol is broadcast live from the dunes near the Stayokay Hostel Terschelling. Festival visitors are welcome to attend the recordings on location from 6:30 PM.
