In the Poetry Theatre of Proces-Verbaal, absurdity sets the tone, words stir the imagination. There’s no escaping the fireworks of poetry. Featuring performances by Monique Hendriks, Maurits Verhoef, Isis van Geffen, and Jasper Serraris. Each day concludes with lively Poetry Karaoke where everyone becomes a poet.
Production house and publisher Proces-Verbaal returns to Oerol with a carload of poetry attractions and poets. The poets alternate with individual performances that blend theatre and poetry seamlessly. Between acts, old-fashioned telephones will ring once more on the streets of Terschelling. Answer a call and connect with a poet from the Poetry Central. As the afternoon progresses and spirits lift, the event culminates with Poetry Karaoke. Here, there’s no singing—only recitations, and you’re encouraged to participate.
