Rave Baby is an absurdist puppet theatre performance in which a woman becomes so consumed by her love for raving that she literally merges with her giant boombox. When she finally re-emerges, she is pregnant with a headstrong baby born from pure rave music.
Even in the womb, Rave Baby can dance, rap, and shamelessly flirt with the outside world. But her patience is running out, and the gross pickles her mother eats are the final straw. The baby decides to force her own birth. Rave Baby is an energetic performance that brings together rave, performance art, and puppetry into a unique live experience. Direct, alienating, and playful – and designed not just for watching, but to let you physically surrender to the world of the rave.
