Help us create a plastic free Wadden Sea region. As part of the Wad Gaat Om program, the Jutfabriek, Sterke Yerke and the Waddenvereniging are organizing a cleanup event in collaboration with Oerol. During this activity you will learn more about the plastic problem and discover what you can do to tackle it.
The Wadden Sea region struggles with a persistent plastic problem. With support from the Wadden Fund plastic pollution is being tackled from the source all the way to the beach. This involves developing alternatives for plastic and closely examining laws and regulations. We also get to work on the shore to clear the waste found there and we desperately need your help with this. And what happens to all that trash afterward? The Jutfabriek knows exactly how to handle it!
