Helpdesk Assistant m/f/x

Oerol Festival Terschelling is seeking a helpdesk assistant for the Tickets & Service department.

Oerol Festival is the largest site-specific theatre festival in Europe, attracting around 55,000 visitors annually. For over 40 years, we have been creating a unique experience at the intersection of culture, adventure, and nature amidst the stunning scenery of the Wadden island Terschelling. For ten days straight, from early morning until midnight, there are theatre performances, storytelling, spoken word, visual arts, and music at various locations.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will ensure that inquiries received at Oerol Festival’s online helpdesk are answered with care and attention. You will assist people with logging into our website, purchasing tickets, and addressing any queries. If necessary, you will communicate via telephone with the relevant individuals.

Who Are You:

  • You are customer-friendly.
  • You speak Dutch
  • You demonstrate resilience to stress.
  • You are proficient with computer systems; knowledge of ActiveTickets and Trengo is advantageous but not essential.

Useful Information:

  • From May 6th to June 16th, you must be available for a minimum of 2 days per week, sometimes in the evening, sometimes on weekends. You must be available on May 14th and 17th in the evening.
  • The hourly rate is €18.25 excluding VAT, based on self-employment. Alternatively, you can be paid via an IB47 form, in which case the hourly rate will be slightly lower at €17.00.
  • The work will take place from May 6th to May 26th at our branch in Rotterdam Centrum, Karel Doormanstraat 278-B. Afterwards, you will work from home.
  • To work from home, you will need your own laptop, as our system does not operate on a Chromebook.
