Drawing inspiration from his experiences in a homeless shelter, Steyn de Leeuwe offers you a glimpse into the life of the homeless, infused with humour and music. He also shares his own bizarre thoughts, the misguided decisions he made, and the inexplicable actions he took. Why is he on the right path, while homeless people have come to a dead end? Are they really so different from each other?
Following the success of his show TOFU COWBOY at Oerol last year, Steyn is now presenting a part of his new show BLAKA WATRA for the first time, under the guidance of Ko van den Bosch. This story features a variety of peculiar birds, yet Steyn remains solo on stage. Through poetry and surrealism, he delivers a touching message of hope and resilience, inviting the audience to look at others with more compassion.
