Crashtest Ibsen returns to Oerol! Still eerily relevant and boasting a cast to die for. In an overwhelming binge theatre performance, you’ll follow the lives of the inhabitants of a fictional nineteenth-century Norwegian town. One evening, three one-hour episodes. You won’t want to do anything else but keep watching. Let’s Crashtest & Chill.
Henrik Ibsen is driven full throttle into the wall, only to pluck his best ideas from the wreckage. With their Crashtest Ibsen performances, Sarah Moeremans and Joachim Robbrecht have been making hit after hit. At Oerol 2024, you’ll see the three performances Crashtest Nora, Crashtest Enemy of the People, and Crashtest I See Ghosts in one evening in a binge-worthy remake. In each episode, the characters skewer societal issues like a fresh catch on their spear. Always with a dose of humor and at a breakneck pace. Get ready for a theatre experience full of drama, plot twists, and razor-sharp dialogue.
During the performance, there are plenty of breaks. Tip: bring a delicious picnic.
