What does the future of public space look like? During this session, the eleven artists from the IN SITU Immersive Lab will pitch their latest projects to the professional community.
The eleven international artists of the IN SITU Immersive Lab have spent the past week on Terschelling deepening their practice. On Saturday morning, they present their plans for the future. During this pitching session, they will share the specific artistic projects they are developing within the framework of the IN SITU platform: a European network for artistic creation in public space, co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
This is an excellent opportunity for programmers, producers, and fellow artists to be the first to discover new project proposals designed for (international) public spaces and unconventional venues. After the presentations, there is an opportunity to join us for a communal lunch to continue the conversation in an informal setting.
Participating makers: Afef Omri (TN), Ebru Altıntaş (DE/TR), Ermina Apostolaki (GR), Femini with Eszter Dobos & Napsugár Trömböczki (DE/CZ/HU), Jenni Nikinmaa (IE/FI), Leonardo Tomasi (IT), Nanci Nanculescu (RO), Pau Arissa Caellas & Núria Planes Llull (ES), Tianjun Li (FI/CN).
To join the session you will need a (free) ticket. If you would like to join us for lunch after the session, please ensure you select the ticket including lunch when booking. The lunch is vegetarian and costs €17.50 including a drink. If you have additional dietary requirements, please let us know by emailing robin.voskuilen@oerol.nl at least a week before the lunch.
Tickets can only be obtained if you are logged in as an Oerol Professional. For access, you will need both your ticket and your Oerol Professionals or ‘Wij Maken Oerol’ festival wristband.
