Info
Meet the new generation of IN SITU artists. Over three rounds of ‘artistic gestures’, international talents will share their artistic practice and the initial results of the Immersive Lab with the professional community.
In the days leading up to the festival, the IN SITU Immersive Lab lands on Terschelling. Eleven emerging European artists spend six days here developing their practice within public space. Oerol is a proud core partner of the IN SITU network, a European platform for artistic creation in unconventional venues, co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
During these sessions, we open our doors to fellow professionals. These ‘artistic gestures’ are small-scale sharing moments, created on-site (in situ) in and around the Folkshegeskoalle in Hoorn. The artists will share their work in a form of their choosing: from short performances to installational sketches.
Practical information: The afternoon is organised in three rounds. Each round features work from three different artists. You are welcome to join for one, two, or all three rounds, but please note: a separate (free) ticket is required for each time slot. As the artistic gestures take shape during the first days of the Immersive Lab, exact locations will be shared with ticketholders shortly before the event. All locations will be within the immediate vicinity of de Folks.
