A musical comedy about homelessness. The housing market is cracking at its seams, gentrification is on the rise, and Huib lives in the park. Op straat (on the streets) illustrates the impact of homelessness. It’s an ode to those who live on the streets. Why is there such a large taboo surrounding homelessness? And why can’t the government provide everyone with a roof over their head?

The production Op straat (on the streets) was born from their presence in the market, engaging heavily with homeless people. The show was based on interviews with homeless individuals, experts, and partners such as De Regenboog Groep, Salvation Army, and Ombudsman Rotterdam-Rijnmond.
