During the Visual Language Weekend, we also play with language. Sign language, of course! Brendan Lodder and Boaz Blume use sign language, facial expressions, mime, and whatever else is needed to depict what the audience requests. So, shout out your requests!
Sign language is a visual language. For Roept u maar! Brendan and Boaz will use Visual Vernacular. This is a unique theatrical technique that involves using the body in combination with elements of poetry and mime. This form is particularly used by deaf performers.
