From historical workshop to vibrant meeting point: during Oerol, the Tonnenloods on West-Terschelling sets the stage for film, multimedia, and special stories from the island.
In this character-filled shed, you will discover Terschelling, the Wadden area, and 45 years of Oerol through new eyes. Wander through impressive projections, short films, photography, and stories told by islanders. From the dialect project ’t Paradiis to children’s views on Oerol and the JUNO photo project: the Tonnenloods brings together past, present, and future.

You can find the Tonnenloods in West: Willem Barentzkade 19A, West-Terschelling.
Opening hours
Friday 12 June from 13:00 to 15:00, and Saturday 13 June to Sunday 21 June from 10:00 to 15:00.
Admission
You will need a timeslot ticket for the Tonnenloods take-over programme. With this ticket, you can visit all parts of the programme continuously from your chosen start time.
